How do I scan a business card?
Tap the Scan tab on the home screen. Hold the card steady in the camera view — Skano will automatically detect and capture the card. You can also import card images from your Photo Library by tapping the Add tab.
What is Enhanced Accuracy?
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, Skano uses Apple's on-device AI to significantly improve name, company, and title extraction. All processing stays on your device.
Does Skano send my data anywhere?
No. Skano processes everything on your iPhone. No data is sent to our servers. No account is required. No analytics are collected. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I create My Card?
Tap your profile icon (top-left on the home screen). Fill in your details — iOS can autofill from your contact card for faster setup. Your QR code is generated automatically.
How do I export my contacts?
Open Settings, then tap Export Cards. Choose which cards to include, then pick a format — Skano CSV, Outlook CSV, Google Contacts CSV, Salesforce CSV, HubSpot CSV, Zoho CRM CSV, or vCards (.vcf). All formats are standard and can be imported into any contacts app or CRM.
How do I share a single card?
Swipe left on a card in the list and tap Share, or open a card and tap the share icon. The card is shared as a vCard (.vcf) file that any contacts app can import.
Can I add a scanned card to my iPhone Contacts?
Yes. Open any scanned card, then tap "Add to Contacts." Skano will create a new contact with all extracted fields pre-filled.
Why are some fields incorrect?
Business card extraction depends on OCR accuracy and card layout. Cards with unusual fonts, busy backgrounds, low lighting, or non-standard layouts may have lower accuracy. You can edit any field after scanning by tapping the card and then the pencil icon. Enabling Enhanced Accuracy (on supported devices) significantly improves results.
What iPhones are supported?
Skano requires iOS 26 or later. Enhanced Accuracy (on-device AI) requires an iPhone with Apple Intelligence enabled.
